These two delightful stone country houses situated side by side, offer guests a wonderful opportunity to rent a Croatian villa sleeping up to 14 persons with private use of a dazzling infinity pool. This idyllic country setting would suit large families or a group of friends looking to stay in one of Croatia’s most popular regions.
The villas are approached via a country road and are presented as two properties, a main house and annexe, with a distance of approximately 5m between them. Both villas are decorated in a country style with exposed stone walls, antique furniture, pine floors and beamed ceilings. The main house is accessed via a short flight of stairs through a porched entrance opening mid floor. This floor features a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a further double bedroom with balcony offering pool and country views plus an en-suite bathroom, and a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. The upper floor consists of one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom whilst the lower floor features a spacious open plan kitchen / diner / lounge area and a separate toilet/cloakroom and Konoba/wine room to the rear. Doors from the lounge lead out onto a fabulous terrace with BBQ/summer kitchen and pool area offset by stunning views over the Mirna valley and
Motovun in the distance.
The cottage annexe next door consists of, on the ground floor, an open plan kitchen / diner / lounge and separate toilet. On the first floor there is a further lounge with fireplace and door to a covered terrace with village lane view and stairs going down to the street below. The second floor contains one twin room with en-suite shower room. The third floor opens up into a double room with en-suite shower room.
There is a wide variety of fascinating places to visit within the area such as the local
Vineyards, the hill top towns of Motovun and Groznjan and the not to be missed local cuisine served in the local restaurants and cafes. The most famous of these eateries is the nearby “
Restaurant Zigante", a world renowned truffle restaurant. Other areas of interest in Istria such as Pula and Rovinj are within easy driving distance of this property and so day excursions by car are also possible.
