3 Bedroom Seaside Villa in Pretty Coastal village of Kanice, near Primosten, Sleeps 6
This delightful three bedroom villa is located on the sea front in the pretty coastal village of Kanice near Rogoznica. This lovely setting would appeal to a family or group of friends looking for a relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings. A few steps lead down from the house to the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic. Boat mooring is possible in front of the villa (on request at time of booking).
The villa is set amongst spacious terraces, furnished with an inviting lounge area, a dining area and a BBQ. Off-road parking for 2 cars is located at the rear of the property, from where the front door of the villa invites guests through to an entrance hall on the ground floor. The entrance hall provides access to a shower room and a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with french doors opening onto the sea-front terrace which has a summer kitchen. The first floor is comprised of a bathroom and three double bedrooms. Each bedroom has a balcony with sea view.
The village of Kanice is approximately 35 minutes away from Split airport. Car hire is recommended as the villa provides an ideal base from which to explore the region. Such sites as the waterfalls of Krka National Park and the UNESCO protected town of Trogir as well as the historic city of Split are all located within 30 – 60 minutes drive of the villa.

Pricing Information
Pricing is calculated per property per night in GBP Sterling. Many destinations also require tourist tax to be paid. Tourist tax starts from approximately £1 per adult per night, and £0.50 per night per child aged 12-17 at time of travel. If tourist tax is applicable to the destination you are travelling to, this will be shown in the booking process. For tourist tax payable at time of booking, the cost will be added to your subtotal. For tourist tax payable locally, the cost will be shown at time of booking and on documentation.

Booking Information
A 30% deposit is required at time of booking. Full balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival.
If booking within 10 weeks of arrival, the full cost of the villa must be paid at the time of booking.

Location of villa was perfect. Being able to jump into the sea (literally) from the sunbathing area was perfect. We really appreciated being able to all choose what to do - swim, lounge in the sun, sit in the shade, easy access to food and drink from the villa - without having to go out to look for a beach. Very slight downside was lack of any local shops meaning we had to plan for breakfasts etc the night before and visit supermarkets.
The owner was very friendly and eager to help. Very easy to contact with immediate reply to a query about DVD player.
Impressed with: Clear blue water of the sea. General cleanliness. Cost of food, drinks, meals etc very comparable to UK
Not impressed with: Overcrowded airport at Split. Delayed flights stacking up meant lots of people waiting to board, sitting on the floor, very stuffy.
Recommend: We visited Krka National Park - lovely to swim in the river near the waterfalls (1 hour drive away) and Plitvice National Park (3 hour's drive) Stunning scenery tho' Plitvice was a bit too crowded by the selfie stick brigade. Trogir nearby was lovely to stroll around with good markets. Split busy and crowded. Awkward drive in to centre - sat nav very useful for this.
Favourite villa moment: Finding that we also had resident pet tortoises - very easy to look after, they added to the experience. Being able to swim straight from the villa in the fantastically clear blue water
Stayed July 2016Since we stayed there during a very hot season coinciding with no wind, the bedrooms were very hot through the night. But we realize that this kind of heat is rare.

A welcome basket of food would have been a really nice touch after the long journey from the airport and hungry tummies after the flight! There were two beers which was great but not for kids...

Fantastic location, ability to swim straight from the back door was great, really nice views and I particularly appreciated the outside barbecue which got a lot of use. Terrace for eating was also very picturesque with sun going down over the bay. The property was very well equipped and it's nice to find in a rental villa that all the crockery and cutlery is matching and you have a decent set of knives. I was surprised and pleased to find a laptop computer was provided with full internet access. The TV/sound system was also much better than I would have expected.
A fantastic holiday all round. Marijana in the London office was very helpful. Mother was charming but having the owner "on site" can make you feel as though you are being watched a bit.
Extremely. Both owner and his mother were delightful. We had not realised that mother lived "on site".
Impressed with: Clarity and temperature of the water, multitude of islands, climate (even if a bit hot), landscapes and very nice people. Some very good fish in local restaurants.
Not impressed with: Cost of car hire.
Recommend: Punta Rata restaurant. Jet ski hire, rent a boat, speed boat to Brac.

The owner was very nice and helpful and did everything so our staying will be enjoyable.
Impressed with: The clear warm green water and the beautiful landscape.
Recommend: There is a bar 25 seconds away from the villa and a small restaurant 2 minutes away right in the middle of the golf area where you can eat mostly fish, for other attraction a car is strongly recommended.

Villa does not have a conditioner. Croatian summer is very hot and we really missed some kind of cooling system in the house.
Impressed with: Very clean sea.
Recommend: Restaurant "Konoba Idro" in TrogirVilla comments: It was unusually hot during the time guests stayed here, it is rarely that hot. House is generally pretty cool otherwise. Will monitor and consider installing A/C in the bedrooms in the future if necessary.

It could have been more clear how far you would have to drive to get to any restaurants/bars/stores at the villa. Also the road to get there was treacherous which we were not expecting. The owner was wonderful - welcoming, helpful and a fully stocked wine fridge didn't hurt!
Favourite Moment: Just sitting and enjoying the views of the Adriatic Sea at the villa.
Not impressed with: The food. Also, the service staff (waiters, hotel staff etc.) in Zagreb were rude.

This is a beautiful villa in an idyllic location; my daughter described it as a little bit of paradise. It lived up to all the photos on the website, with a spectacular view of the inlet and the sea and a real bonus of having its own access to the water. The owner was very welcoming and helpful in every way. Kanica is a lovely spot; it is far enough off the main roads to make it special but near enough to Rogoznica and Primosten to enjoy a choice of restaurants and tourist sites. It was a wonderful introduction to the beauties of Croatia.

Very nice environment, nice accommodation with great access to the see. The bay where the villa is located has amazingly clear water with white sand at the bottom. We really enjoyed the terrace and the sound garden as well. Short distance to Primosten or Trogir or even Split. Highly recommended, very nice holidays there.

This is a fabulous house and location right on The Adriatic with cobalt blue and crystal clear water. Great place for swimming and diving. View from decks and patios is stunning. Located very close to many great sites such as Spilt. Trogir and Primosten which is a real hidden undiscovered jewel. Villa was very well furnished for cooking as we both love to cook/BBQ. Every morning the local vendor trucks would stop near us selling fresh baked breads, vegetables/fruit or local seafood-what a treat right out your front door!
The owners were extremely gratuitous and friendly/helpful. We were greeted by Ante and his charming mother Ivanka who showed us the villa and gave us great advice about the villa/ area-restaurants and sites to visit. They even brought us a fresh made local dessert of berries( made by Ivanka) plus a carafe of wine made by the owner Ante! Lastly they offered to prepare us a dinner our last night of fresh BBQ'd local fish and an array of other local dishes-their wines plus a round of homemade Mojitos-what more could you ask for! It was one of the highlights of our trip.
You have a great website which is very easy to use and navigate plus very knowledgeable agents. Our contact was perfect in finding us villas that suited our preferences. A very professional operation as it is not easy to determine where to go and what to rent in a country you have never visited before and is actually quite large.
Impressed with:Beautiful country with exceptional scenery and history. Very friendly people who were always helpful to us and extremely proud of their country and heritage. Also a fantastic freeway system when you need to get quickly from one location to another.
Recommend: The local sea food restaurant right on the beach was excellent and very reasonable-located only 50 steps from us. Most of the time we just stayed on our great ocean front patio and admired the fantastic view. Swam at least two times day directly in front of villa with steps straight in the water.
