This beautiful seafront villa is set in the magical bay of Kobas, known as a tranquil sailors retreat on the Stonski channel. Situated just ten minutes by boat or a ten kilometre drive from the historic town of Ston, visitors to Kobas will be enchanted by the welcoming atmosphere of the harbour, local restaurants serving delicious seafood and the mirror-like surface of the calm sea. Boat mooring is possible directly in front of the property.
Parking is located at the end of the gravel road from Ston, an easy three minute stroll along the sea front to the property itself. The spacious, well-appointed villa consists of three floors plus a separate twin studio with a kitchenette on the ground floor. Access to each floor of the property is possible from the seafront via an external stone staircase. A shaded sea-front dining area with barbecue provides space for leisurely evening meals by the promenade.
The spacious main living area is located on the open-plan first floor and invites access to a delightful sea-facing terrace with dining table and chairs. The modern, well-equipped kitchen provides ample space to accommodate the culinary needs of a large group, and offers access to a utility/laundry room and a separate WC. A double bedroom with en-suite shower room is accessed via the terrace. An internal staircase leads up from from the kitchen to the second floor. This is comprised of a double room with en-suite shower room, a children’s room with two sets of bunk beds, a family bathroom, a double bedroom and a generous front terrace with outdoor lounge area. A door from this level invites access to a secluded sun deck at the rear of the property with external access to the third floor. This consists of three rooms radiating from a central hallway. The master bedroom is furnished with four-poster bed and two ornamental balconies, a second double room is positioned at the front of the property and an indulgently spacious bathroom proffers fabulous views over the bay.
Situated within an hour of Dubrovnik, the hamlet of Kobas offers perfectly calm waters, sublime scenery and excellent seafood restaurants such as Gastro Mare. It is recommended that guests staying in this property hire a car or boat, as Kobas commands an excellent location to explore all the attractions of Southern Dalmatia. The dramatic walls of Ston, the verdant islands of Korcula and Mljet, and the gorgeous beaches of the Peljesac peninsula are all within easy reach.
