The property was great, and very well maintained. Nice view of the valley where you can enjoy the swimming pool, views and sunsets. The house had many details that made our stay very comfortable. Particularly, the bathrooms were well maintained and spacious but more importantly they are private to each bedroom. Everybody was very helpful.
Some additional wineries suggestions. We found the one suggested closed and we did not really know where else to go. Perhaps some wines of the region catalogue would be helpful since there are so many vineyards around. I would also recommend to provide some citronella at arrival while guest have a chance to get more in town (mosquitos may be aggressive without repellant).
The villa was great as well as the local contacts. Before the trip, I had appreciated some information around the area to be prepared. I requested information and people were very responsive. However, it had been nice if they had taken the initiative to share some pre trip advice.
Impressed with: The Adriatic coast and the valley lined with vineyards.
Not impressed with: The wines and the truffles. Also, the food at the restaurants was not that great.
Recommend: Motovun: Mondo Restaurant. Groznjan is a great cute hill town. Rovinj boat ride and Blue Restaurant.
Favourite villa moment: Just hanging out at the swimming pool. It was very fun and relaxing. In addition, the weather was great so you could always have dinner outside by the barbecue.
