    Located on one of the highest points on Hvar Island, this delightful stone cottage retreat offers guests magnificent panoramic views of the countryside along with the island of Brac and the mainland resort of Makarska in the distance. These stunning view are set against the backdrop of the sparkling waters of the Adriatic. This picturesque setting would suit a family or friends looking for a peaceful and relaxing outdoor style holiday with possibilities for physical activities (walking, cycling). 

    Upon leaving the main road, guests drive uphill for approximately 5-10 minutes towards the abandoned shepherd’s village of Humac where the cottage is located. A driveway is located to the rear of the cottage. A short path from the parking area leads to the sea facing front garden which features a raised sunbathing platform, an outdoor dining table with bench style seating and a covered terrace. Guests enter the cottage into an open plan traditional dining/kitchen area with separate triple room (double and single bed) and separate shower room. A quadruple galleried bedroom (1 double and 2 x single beds) with compact lounge area is located on the first floor. 

    Car hire is recommended when staying at this property. Within a short walking distance of the cottage is a traditional ‘Konoba’ (similar to a tavern) restaurant offering regional specialities sourced from local ingredients, especially popular is the organic lamb and the freshly caught Octopus. The nearby beaches are located within 10 minutes drive down the hill from the cottage. A visit to the fascinating Grapceva Caves situated in Humac village can be organised.

    Cave tours run approximately 3 times per week during the holiday period and cost around Euros 5 per person payable locally. Please speak with the property manager for further details. Four bikes are included in the price to be used at customers’ own risk, please ensure you are adequately insured if you wish to use the bikes.       Pricing and booking information

      Pricing Information

      Pricing is calculated per property per night in GBP Sterling. Many destinations also require tourist tax to be paid. Tourist tax starts from approximately £1 per adult per night, and £0.50 per night per child aged 12-17 at time of travel. If tourist tax is applicable to the destination you are travelling to, this will be shown in the booking process. For tourist tax payable at time of booking, the cost will be added to your subtotal. For tourist tax payable locally, the cost will be shown at time of booking and on documentation.

      All bookings subject to booking fee.

      Booking Information

      A 30% deposit is required at time of booking. Full balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival.

      If booking within 10 weeks of arrival, the full cost of the villa must be paid at the time of booking.

      Certain properties require varying payments for bookings. If payments required vary from those above, these conditions will be displayed below or advised at time of booking.

      Holding an Option on a villa

      For online bookings, payment can be made by credit or debit card. Corporate credit card payments may incur a surcharge at time of booking. There is no surcharge for personal credit or debit card payments. All major currencies are accepted when paying online by credit card.
