It's a lovely apartment, with fantastic views in an excellent location. I was really happy with it and have already recommended it to friends. I wasn't shown how to use the sofa bed, or given any sheets for it. The top of the sofa bed had obviously dropped previously which meant it was hard to operate. The agent was really friendly and helpful. She helped me with my bags and buggy as I had two young children on my own. She also called the owner to.
Impressed with: It's stunning and the people are so friendly.
Recommend: The Elafiti island boat tour. Dubrovnik boat trip.
Favourite villa moment: Eating breakfast whilst enjoying the beautiful view and then strolling along the sea front to get coffee, looking at all the boats.
Stayed May/June 2016The TV seemed to be in German in some channels or have no sound for others. Mind you,we didn't spend much time in the apartment so it wasn't an issue for us. I would thoroughly recommend it, but you need to be able to cope with a fair few steps up and down to the apartment and the spiral stairs within the property.
Impressed with: The food, scenery, water and plenty to see and do if you felt so inclined.
Recommend:We tried a lot of the local restaurants and enjoyed them all!
Favourite villa moment: Seeing the view from the apartment when we first got there. Beautiful!Stayed June 2014
Read more reviewsA small welcome pack for 2 tea bags and some water would have been perfect! Caretaker was very helpful, prompt and informative.
The stairs to the property and very dangerous and not very suitable for lugging suitcases up. Also the spiral stairs to the apartment and extremely dangerous and I actually fell down them during our visit. There should be someone there to help you lift your cases up the stairs as we are only in our 30th and we struggled!!
Impressed with: Laid back and relaxing.
Not impressed with: The ants
Recommend: Every restaurant we tired was great!
Favourite villa moment: Seeing what super yacht was outside your window each morning - the view was amazing!!Villa comment:The stairs are wooden and steep because the house is tall and corridor is narrow but they are not dangerous. There is a handrail on the staircase (all the way from the ground to the top floor). It is a good idea for people to travel light when staying at these apartments. We don’t offer luggage assistance and those with heavy luggage do struggle. Unfortunately we don’t have the facility to offer a welcome pack.

The apartment was superb. The photographs on the website did not do justice to the very high quality of the apartment, and its location was even better than suggested, immediately behind the sea-front restaurants. (Caretaker was) Very helpful, and very professional.
In the apartment there could have been leaflets about restaurants, or events nearby. (On our last day we discovered that there had been acoustic guitar concerts at a nearby church, which we had missed.) Wi-fi would have been very useful.
The various post-booking forms emailed to me were sometimes confusing, as each one repeated the same extensive details about payment arrangements, even though I had already paid in full. This could lead to the relevant information to be missed, buried beneath the repeated information.
Impressed with: The beautiful scenery, with its many rocky islands, clear waters and Venetian-style buildings, particularly the churches
Not impressed with: Too many big cruise ships, though I appreciate this is a necessary evil.
Recommend: Dolium restaurant, just minutes away, served particularly good food. The nearby Poseidon pizzeria served good pizza and pasta at a good price.
Favourite villa moment: Opening the shutters, and seeing the wonderful sea-view. Seen on the website, but even better in the flesh.Stayed July 2012
Excellent location - very helpful rep
Impressed with: Very good value for money nice friendly people
Recommend: Trip to Dubrovnik really good by boat.Stayed September 2012
Brilliant, will be back!

The scenery and opportunities to involve oneself in such a range of activities from outdoor pursuits to cultural sightseeing (was impressive). The only problem was that one of the two cooker rings did not work as a new part was expected. This made it a little more difficult to cook as eating out every night was expensive. Our representative in Croatia was fantastic. She collected us from the airport and was always on hand with anything we required.
