This country stone villa is located in the pretty village of Vrbanj on the Island of Hvar. Surrounded by scented lavender fields for which Hvar is famed, Vrbanj provides an excellent base from which to explore the rest of the island. This villa with a pool would suit a family or group of friends who are keen to enjoy island life with plenty of outside space in a peaceful country village setting.
Guest enter the villa off a country lane into a gravel drive at the end of which is shaded parking. The villa is set in a large Mediterranean garden and is divided into a main house and separate guest cottage. Guests enter the ground floor of the main house located a few metres away from the drive into a kitchen / diner with small lounge area. There is also a utility room with washing machine. Doors from the kitchen/diner lead into a double bedroom with separate bathroom. The upper part of the main villa is accessed by walking round to the rear of this building, up a short flight of stairs onto a shady patio area with BBQ facilities. There is also a gate leading from the patio back out onto the country lane. Doors from this patio open up into a kitchen / diner and partially separated lounge area. There are also two double bedrooms both with en suite shower rooms. Stairs from this floor lead up to a large twin room (eaves) featuring two single beds.
The charming guest cottage built into the bedrock and featuring exposed stone walls on the ground floor can be accessed by walking across the garden in the middle of which is located the pool with sun terrace. Guest enter the cottage into an open plan kitchen, diner / lounge area. Upstairs features a double bedroom with en suite shower room.
In Vrbanj there is one restaurant and a local shop and four kilometers away in the traditional fishing village of Vrboska there is a supermarket. The port town of Starigrad is only six kilometres away and offers a wide range of cafes, bars and restaurants as well as the ferry to Split.
