    Were sent details to find property but owner came to meet us off the bus but we missed her as we were not aware she was going to be there. Very clean apart from grouting around shower and lower tiles were black not a big problem but might put some people off. Owner could not of been more helpful.

    Impressed with:  the sea the people and no McDonalds
    Not impressed with: Local transport on Korcula stopped at 7.00 pm. would have liked to of gone to wine festivals but these all started at 8.00 pm

    Everyone was very helpful. A double bed, rather than two single beds put together would have been more comfortable. The restaurant Diago Mare, was very friendly and good value. Five minutes or less up the hill. (Enjoyed)  Going to the supermarket, then having a leisurely breakfast.

    Didn't advise whether beach towels were provided. The agent told us that plastic utensils must be used with the induction hob - but no plastic utensils were provided! Shower drained very slowly - drains need unblocking regularly The property is quite high up - steep walk to beach and restaurants

    Recommend:  Worth spending some time in Split and Dubrovnik Local restaurants provided good value meals

    Villa was lovely - accommodation spacious and very comfortable. The ensuite shower rooms were excellent and we enjoyed the splendid views from the spacious terrace. The location was excellent and the beach and views from the beach at Lumbarda fabulous. The many stairs and split levels wouldn't be suitable for young children and elderly. Shame about the building work going on on the roof of the adjacent property- a simple screen would improve the view from the terrace.
    Owner very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. They live right next door but it wasn't a problem at all.

    Not impressed with: The rather dull 'Italian' food
    Recommend: Both restaurants within the bay were good - unpretentious but good food with lovely sea views.

    It was all excellent and even better than described. A very pleasant place to stay beautifully situated, and we loved it. Fabulous scenery and coast, very easy to travel in, used public transport to arrive, travel around, and leave.

    Excellent location!!! The owner was wonderful. Very attentive and helpful. Full of information about local restaurants, attractions and excursions.

    Better access to wifi - especially for people who may have a work emergency while on vacation

    Impressed with: The people, the water and the mountains. 

    Villa Comments: Router is located on the ground floor of a 3-4 story building. Internet is not strong everywhere so maybe not so good in the bedroom with doors closed. On the terrace/balcony WiFi is usually very good.

    Excellent. The location was perfect and the town of Brela was adorable. Also, breakfast was included with our reservation which was a pleasant surprise. We will be back!  The owners are fabulous! They had good recommendations of places to go visit and restaurants to try. Very warm and personable as well.

    Impressed with: The diversity and the beauty. 
    Not impressed with: The wine.
    Recommend: We frequented Obala restaurant, Gulliver's bar and had our final dinner at Konoba Panorama. All of these places were worth a visit or two. 
    Favourite villa moment: Soaking in the sunset on our private terrace with a drink in hand.

    Owners were there to meet us and after showing us around said he was available by text or by mobile, but we didn't need to contact him and didn't have any other dealings with them.

    We did ask by email prior to travelling if beach towels were provided and were advised they weren't and therefore brought these with us and when arrived there were actually towels provided.

    The only downsides of this property are the lack of a pool, which there would be room to build in the largely unused garden at the rear, but understand this may not be practical given location. Fortunately it wasn't too hot and the sea is close by for a quick dip. The other issue is regarding the privacy of people walking up the steps to the Mali Ston walls, although there wasn't a huge amount of people - we actually caught one lady looking over the wall while we were sunbathing. After some careful locating of the umbrella this gave us more privacy, but a small fence or additional planting would resolve this. The additional of a BBQ would also add to the self-catering facilities.

    Recommend: We ate at Kapetanova kuca 5 of the 7 nights we stayed as the seafood was superb and the best in our 2 week trip across Croatia. All others in the village rarely had more than one or two tables taken, but Kap Kuca was full every time we went. Also stagnum in nearby Ston for good thin crust wood fired pizzas, a rarity as usual thick and Italian style.   
    Favourite villa moment: Drinks on the terrace in the eveningToo many to pick one, we loved the lovely village and fantastic seafood available locally. It was nice to have Ston just a walk away for groceries and morning coffee in the square watching the world go by. Would definitely return and hope Mali Ston doesn't become too commercialised as lots of the properties are currently being renovated.

    Villa comments: Great to hear people enjoy their stay overall. About the BBQ and more privacy - a big stone BBQ will be ready for 2013 and a fence of some kind to keep people from looking in, so that will be sorted.The pool idea is great but being located within the village walls, planning regulations for the moment do not allow for a pool to be built.

    Beautiful old house right amidst the old stone walls of Mali Ston with great views and patio. Villa was very well furnished and decorated. Due to the amount of steps to get to property it is only suited for people who are mobile and don't mind climbing in/out of their villa to do anything. Only negative is villa needs microwave due to location which owner seemed to resist. Only place in world we have visited over last 10 years that does NOT have one. Also owner did not know how to operate her TV which was a real inconvenience-again due to location and steps! Area is very scenic with great local red wines and seafood.

    Impressed with: The walls and salt farms are outstanding. Great location to visit Dubrovnik also.
    Favourite villa moment: Having drinks /meals on patio overlooking the ancient walls and fabulous views of bay!

    Apartment 2 was great. Very quiet, scenic, tidy with beautiful landscaping. Host was very good, very helpful, and friendly. Good language skills in English. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a base near seaside in North. KRK Island is nearby but need to plan long drives to Istria, Lakes, etc. as they are distant. So best if you want place on seaside to relax, stay put with maybe closer area visits instead.  Not sure we would book one place again but maybe stay in several for two nights each so we better see country. Like apartments versus hotels but to ease travel would prefer to stay several places versus so much daily driving. (Restaurants) We liked Nada on Vrbnik on KRK Island and Francopan locally. (Enjoyed) Just relaxing out on grounds in sun with sea facing

    An excellent property, the owner was very helpful and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The location was just perfect and Mali Ston was quiet and peaceful without all the normal tacky tourist shops and restaurants.

    For some reason I did not receive an email from Croatian Villas with accommodation details and directions. I had to call a week before departure to get details but was dealt with efficiently and quickly.

    Impressed with: The natural beauty and that the area is protected from mass tourism. The people were also lovely, friendly and helpful.
    Not impressed with:  I cannot think of anything it was a perfect holiday.
    Recommend: Three restaurants in town, all good although Kapetana Kova was the best with great seafood, good wines and excellent service.
    Favourite villa moment: Trips to Dubrovnic, Korcula, Mljet, the walls of Mali Ston and boat trip to taste the famous oysters and mussels straight out of the sea.

    There is long term renovation work going on at the building next door and although it is not a constant ongoing noise it might be worth mentioning that there may be a small amount of noise from that from time to time. Generally it is quite peaceful.  The owner was staying in the village at the time and has a long term family history there so was always on hand and helpful with any questions. Anything she was not sure of she got back to us with information which was great. We also spent a lovely evening with the owner, friends and other guests which was very nice. We have taken holiday lets before and the only other thing we normally have that is useful is a short note on how to leave the villa on exit. I wasn't sure what was required. And perhaps a little mud map of the village and what is available there and nearby. When we arrived we were met and shown around but it's a lot to process and remember when you've just got there so having a note to refer back to is always helpful.

    Impressed with:  It is similar to my home country (NZ) in that it is not so busy or developed that you can still pull up at a beach, restaurant or shops and it is possible to get a park easily and it is not all paid parking. How refreshing!!
    Not impressed with: The drivers. Would do well with a minimum speed limit so other people aren't forced to overtake slow drivers in crazy places. Some overtaking lanes would be good. Would also be better if people stayed on their side of the road as people didn't pay much attention to the centre line.
    Recommend: It is possible to arrange for tours out of Dubrovnik to Mostar in Bosnia Herz to pick you up from the main road near Mali Ston if you request it. Local restaurants in village are good. 
    Favourite villa moment: The courtyard is a lovely spot for drinks or meals at home

    We have just returned from our holiday in Croatia where we stayed in two of the properties handled by you.

    Both places we stayed were really good but particularly the one in Seget Vranjica where we spent the first week. The apartment was absolutely fantastic with excellent terraces to front and side, in a superb location. The owners were kind and helpful and made the whole experience perfect. We just wish we had stayed there longer.

    When you go self-catering you always take a bit of a chance on the quality of accommodation. On this occasion it was just brilliant.

    It is comfortable, has character, beautiful views and immediate access to the sea. A folder with local information and helpful tips about the property would have been useful. We found owner very friendly and kind. It helped that we spoke German and Italian as she explained she does not speak much English.

    Impressed with: The beauty of the coast and the friendliness of the people.
    Not impressed with:   The outskirts of the towns and the utilitarian buildings.
    Recommend: The Ribar in Seget Vranjika is excellent - good value for money, lovely food including very good grilled fish. Also friendly and relaxed. In Trogir, which is a fascinating old town, we liked the restaurant Vranjaka. Visiting the Krka National Park is worth doing, and swimming under the waterfall! if possible, eat beforehand as the restaurant there is rather busy and uninspiring. Split and the Diocletian Palace is definitely worth a visit. We had a lovely meal there at Kod Joze.
    Favourite villa moment: One of many favourite villa moments was getting up in the morning and going down for a swim before breakfast.

    Fantastic never disappointing. l always feel that if you are arriving late that a starter hamper would be a nice welcome for guests luckily for us we asked the local representative for help here before we left perhaps you could add this as a small supplement or complimentary to Croatian guests it would be a nice touch and something that other villa companies offer.

    The property is good but would benefit with a Wifi connection that is not piggybacked off of the property next door. Also the shower hose in the bathroom needs to be replaced as when we arrived it was broken but still usable l kept on forgetting to tell Kristinka about this Finally a fan in the master bedroom was missing that would have been useful as the Air Con was a little noisy The tree to the front of the house could do with a trim giving guests a clearer view

    Impressed with: Its clean it’s safe and its very reasonable
    Not impressed with:  Some of the beachside excursions were quite pricey especially if you were a family
    Recommend: We ate several times at Volat on the road behind the villa at the top of the steps they welcome you with an aperitif and finish with dessert and small liquor. Very reasonable Also the Arca on the beach is good although the waiters can be a bit slack but great sea views from the terrace
    Favourite villa moment: Having breakfast on the terrace and taking in the sea views and the busy marina

    Villa Comments: We do not provide a hamper for this villa but if guests would like to pre-order groceries before arrival and pay locally this can be arranged. We don’t receive comments about the WiFi which is generally good, but if required we can provide a 2GB stick. The shower hose has been replaced.  Fan can be provided. The tree is cut but it does grow fast.

    Recommend:  Good restaurants: Marko, Hrast Biokovo Park is well worth a visit Renting bicycles is a good idea. Book a villa, rent a car/boat/bicycle and explore Croatia on your own - It's more exciting and less expensive than buying excursions

    In the current financial situation l felt that we could have been given air conditioning as part of rental, and due to our late arrival it would have been nice to see some basic food essentials supplied even if we did have to pay for these, as it was the local contact helped us with these. (Liked) no crime, no graffiti and no load music/clubs everything closed down at 12.00 midnight great, beach was spotless and our beach man / waiter and pancake lady remained the same even after several visits to the same resort / property

    To be honest, I can't fault the service provided or the location, amenities or accommodation. The sales staff that I initially spoke with were very friendly, informative and very professional. The accommodation only added to the superb service already experienced. It was a beautiful location and certainly more than we expected.

    We were met by the caretaker - she was extremely friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable - without being overbearing or intrusive. She advised that she was available if we had any problems or issues. It was the perfect blend.

    It was a beautiful location with superb amenities - more than we expected. It was a beautiful experience.

    Impressed with: We would absolutely, definitely, without a doubt revist Croatia! The views were absolutely spectacular. The bays and coves were spectacular and the sea was so clean and clear. Also, I wasn't a fan of pebble beaches previously, but absolutely love them now! No more sand!!! Oh, and Croatian beer - it's beautiful!!! Absolute convert!!!
    Not impressed with: The drive was a little long to get to the villa - but this was a combination of us flying into Split and not realising how quick the ferry to/from Ploce was (also, I didn't take into account how calm the sea was - I get motion sickness so was a bit dubious about getting the ferries!). I can't say that we were unimpressed by anything in Croatia, only extremely impressed by all the views, people, and infrastructure.
    Recommend: We were not aware of how cheap the ferries were when island hopping - so if perhaps we had been more aware of this, we would have used these more and travelled a little further around. The bar on the beach in Mokola served superb pizza and were very friendly. The recommendations left in the information book at the accommodation were extremely helpful along with the information guides and maps. We visited some of the recommended areas/restaurants etc and can only concur with those recommendations - beautiful!
    Favourite villa moment: When we arrived. We had not booked a holiday via an internet site before so were a little dubious that the property we had booked may not live up to the info advertised or our expectations. The villa completely exceeded this. Also, resting in the garden on the sun lounger late pm!!

    The apartment was very dark and the lights in the room were not very cosy. Owner was very helpful.

    Property response: I suppose that they were very dissapointed about the weather, it was raining all the time the whole week, very cold, they had heating on. Regarding the lights: there are 2x ceiling lights ( each with 3 bulbs in) and a lamp beside the sofa bed in the living room, again such a ceiling light and two lamps on each side of the bed in the bedroom...There is also a neon over the sink and one over the electric hob.

    It was perfect for our needs, demands and wishes. The only things are: - it is situated in the middle of industrial harbours which does not give the best feelings. But you do not feel any impact in the quality of the environment In general it was a very beautiful villa with an amazing pool and private beach!!! Thanks for this proposal.     We had a great time and fully enjoyed our breakfasts and evenings on the big terrace with the stunning view over the port of Milna. Nothing was missed. We actually found more than we expected; but actually all was clearly listed on the website page. Everyone proved helpful and very nice. Really glad with all people involved.

    Impressed with: The beauty of the landscape. The sea. The architecture. Food and drink: Simple, natural and tasty.
    Not impressed with:  Garbage collection can be improved. Too many boats into and out of Milna port.
    Recommend: We were regular customers of the "Pekara" closest to our house, because the breads, bureks, croissants etc. were simply irresistible! Lovely personnel too. We bought white wine, schnaps, olive oil and soaps from a local producer (Can't recall the name now), based 20 mt. from the Vox bar. Excellent products, all natural! We bought some marble art craft from an stall at the edge of the village, near the church: excellent products, beautiful, well-made, elegant, made for great presents.
    Favourite villa moment:  Breakfast on the terrace. Aperitivo and Digestivo on the terrace...

    There are ships arriving and then they play loud music until 2 AM in the morning! This is the only disturbing thing we have noticed! Furthermore an iron equipment would be nice.

    Recommend: The restaurant in the back off the promenade about 50 mtrs away was very good. forgot the name.

    Excellent. A lovely setting with great access to the sea.  The owners could not have been more helpful. They were horrified that one of the air conditioning units was not working (the apartment had one in every room) and immediately arranged for it to be repaired, despite it being a Sunday.

    Owner was lovely and very helpful. The sun terraces and views were fantastic. Bedroom furniture could do with an update as could the shower but overall it was lovely. She was always available to answer any questions and was particularly helpful when two of our party got lost trying to find the villa!

    Impressed with: The scenery and the peace and tranquillity. The wonderful architecture in all the villages.The wine!!
    Not impressed with: Split Airport- far too busy.
    Recommend: The entire Island is wonderful. Supetar and Sutevan in particular. Very handy location for nipping over to Split for the day too.
    Favourite villa moment: The views. Impossible to describe them particularly at sunrise and sunset. The smell of the Rosemary bushes. Being able to walk down steps and swim in the clear water. Fabulous.

    Recommend: Restaurant Dalmatino in the village was very good. Restaurant Slika in Milna did great pizzas. Milna and Sutivan best for shopping.

    Owner was fantastic. Generous with food provided (egg custard on arrival, her now famous pancakes during our stay, as well as some cold beers, milk, juice and fruit). She also went out of her way to find and lend us some ice blocks to use, clearly borrowing some from a neighbour when she could not find her own. Always available, never intrusive, the perfect combination. Many thanks to her.

    Found attractive property online. Responsive online and on phone. Air-conditioning in the bedrooms would certainly be welcome, but otherwise it was superb, thoroughly enjoyed and would love to return

    Impressed with: Inexpensive, friendly, great weather, unspoiled, good food...
    Not impressed with:  Dog mess in Split.
    Recommend: We had a good meal in the first of the two restaurants in Bobovisca. Loved Milna: charming, unspoiled but with excellent choice of restaurants and bars, great vibe and inexpensive. We hired a small boat with outboard for a day (kn500) which gave us a hugely enjoyed day from a different perspective (Stanko was excellent, has a couple of new boats and was very accommodating, providing fishing equipment for our children without any charge: 00 385 989 739 599). We visited Bol and Zlatni Rat just before peak season and were really impressed. Beautifully clean and relaxed. Also enjoyed brief visit to Sutivan.
    Favourite villa moment:  Just spending time around the villa and pool, enjoying the outdoor eating area and bbq. Those views...

    Fantastic position with great views from the balcony and easy access to the sea from garden. Nice location with good access to Trogir, Split and surrounding area. Water taxi nearby which takes you into Trogir. House is split into two apartments which can be rented separately or together. Recommend taking the whole house as middle/upper floors are the best.

    Owner very helpful and on hand to deal with any queries. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    Impressed with: Some interesting places to visit and fantastic sights around the coast & islands.

    Not impressed with: People can be sometimes a little abrupt.

    Recommend: Water taxi into Trogir from nearby campsite (10min walk). Kn 50 return fare. Krkla National Park (about 1 hour away). Primosten very picturesque and worth visit/lunch

    Just wanted to thank you for a fabulous holiday in TG001 villa near Trogir

    The villa was clean and modern with spectacular views of the sea from both balconies.

    The sea is so clear there and we could reach it in minutes via the garden.

    The area is quiet not overrun with tourists but an easy walk to the village and the boat taxi to Trogir

    We hired a little boat from the village rental place and went exploring anchoring in a deserted bay for snorkelling

    The caretakers were delightful. We had a problem with the fridge, drains in bathroom and Satellite tv and struggled to reach her by phone but once you got hold of her they came straight away to fix it.

    Theres a new Studenac supermarket opening this weekend up the road behind the villa so that will be handy for your future guests

    Also Baldo from the taxi firm Ivan Golez speaks great English and was really helpful he took us to Krka and waited all day to take us home bless him.

    We did find he was not there to meet us from the plane but I rang Davorka and she sent him to get us- apparently he had arrived to get us at 11.30 in the morning instead of evening.

    Also thankyou for the breakfast welcome pack and letting us stay till 7pm on Saturday which made our late flights much less stressful.

    I would definitely travel with you again and recommend Croatian Villas to friends.

    Impressed with: Scenery and friendly people. Great food.
    Not impressed with:  Nothing much - just got to keep a watch out for the speed signs as the speed limit changes frequently and the signage is not the most obvious at times.
    Recommend: Bar at Mimice harbour is 400 m away and a pleasant walk down to the sea. Further afield, there is good choices for eating at Omiš - we liked the Milo restaurant (Restoran MILO, Knezova Kacica 15, Omis 21310).

    Beautiful property with lots of different seating areas for sunshine/shade and direct access to our own bit of shoreline, very well furnished, and nicely presented. Really appreciated the provision of food and fruit on arrival, plus the abundance of towels and bathroom products for use during our stay, and lovely cleaner. 

    Owner was very attentive after a big storm that disrupted the internet service to the property, ensuring it was restored within the day. She got up early to see us off. Very nice lady, who obviously took pride in the property and wanted to give us a good holiday.

    Impressed with: Beautiful weather, clean water, lovely islands, good food.
    Not impressed with: We found the service in some of the shops/restaurants a bit perfunctory: a cultural rather than personal issue, we assumed!
    Recommend: We enjoyed the local tavernas on the seafront in Orebic.

    Everything with the villa was absolutely perfect.

    Owner was outstanding in every way. She was there to greet us the moment we arrived and had our kitchen stocked with everything from wine and cheese to coffee, eggs, milk, fruit, and bread for breakfast the next morning. She also shared her own bicycles with us and a rolling caddy for carrying groceries from the market to the villa.

    Impressed with: The stunning scenery.
    Not impressed with: The 2 lane roads that make driving to surrounding areas very stressful. Aggressive drivers in cars and motorcycles passing on curves, roads with no shoulder.
    Recommend: The ferry to Korcula is an easy way to see some surrounding areas, and a lovely day trip. We enjoyed all the restaurants - everyone is very helpful with the understanding the menu and the food is fresh and delicious! Our favorite place was a small cafe, Croccantino, on the main seaside road that had coffee, pastries, and the very best gelato. The fresh fruits and produce that can be purchased in the small vendor market stalls is the best we've ever had anywhere!

    The villa is lovely and very well priced. It is conveniently located between Lapad and the Old Town so you are very central, whilst also being in a peaceful place. The pool is a very generous size with a lovely garden and bbq for relaxing time with the family. We got married whilst in Dubrovnik and we had some beautiful photos taken in the garden on the morning of the wedding. There were 10 adults staying at the villa and we all fitted in perfectly. We were very happy with our choice! The management gave us everything we needed and then gave us the space to enjoy our holiday.

    We booked our villa and other family members accommodation through Croatian Villas and we found the service to be very good and helpful.

    Impressed with: Beautiful scenery, beautiful weather, friendly people, plenty to do, see and eat!
    Recommend: Everything... sooo many great restaurants in the old town and some hidden gems in Lapad too. definitely take a visit to kolocep island and visit the villa ruza restaurant. Definitely do the walk around the old town walls, because you get the best views this way!

    We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed every minute of our stay.  Villa was beautiful. Details were all very clear. The only negative was that the wifi didn't work properly in the upper apartment.  The owners were very responsive -- we had a problem with the air conditioner in the main bedroom and the son, came out on a Sunday evening at 8.30pm to fix it. Very nice and warm people who went the extra mile for us.  

    Impressed with: Cost, people and the scenery and beaches.
    Not impressed with:  Roads very run down and a little bit chaotic during peak season.
    Recommend: The bar on the beach has good local food and easy to get to from the apartment. (not suitable for disabled people though). If you're in Omis during July go to the Acapella Concert -- men and women from all over Dalmatia compete --really impressive and unique.  
    Favourite villa moment: Sitting on the balcony early in the morning sipping coffee and admiring the view :-)

    Caretaker was friendly and helpful. I liked that you offered excursions and other things. It is good that you warned about the difficult drive way.

    Impressed with: Definitely the national park with the lakes and waterfalls. Was spectacular, one of the best things we've seen in our lives!  
    Recommend: We liked rafting in Cetina -river, and pirate ruins in Omis. Restaurant by Cetina was also nice.
    Favourite villa moment: Eating out in a terrace in the evening and swimming and snorkling in the sea.

    The website needs to say that it has wi-fi. It also would have been helpful to have an address so that we could have used our GPS navigation.

    It worked out well for us but getting to the property down the steep driveway in our big van was very difficult, and we scraped the side trying to get into the parking space. It took some getting used to maneuver the van in and out of the property. That was the biggest problem. The website should let people know that a small vehicle is best to use. Also the house is well equipped, but kitchen needs dish towels.

    Caretaker was there to greet us and guide us down or we would have never found it. But once inside she helped us a lot and served us refreshments. She also gave us her phone number and email so that if we needed anything she was available.

    Impressed with: Definitely the national park with the lakes and waterfalls. Was spectacular, one of the best things we've seen in our lives!  
    Not impressed with: Love the beauty - but the people are not too friendly.
    Recommend: The little restaurant called Espana just down the road was good food and very nice to us. We didn't realize they didn't take credit cards and we didn't have enough Kuna to pay for our meal (there were 8 of us)! So the owner said, no problem, you can come back tomorrow and pay me! He was kind and trusted us! So that is what we did. We recommend to go there! 
    Favourite villa moment: We are 8 people who enjoy to be together, so our favorite moments were having meals on the deck, enjoying the view, sipping wine, talking, and watching the sunsets! Also enjoyed walks along the shore and swimming in the Adriatic!

    Villa Comments: I know about the road but unfortunately we cannot change it although it certainly was a big van. A normal car has no problem. About the kitchen towels they should have asked me. I will make sure more are added.
