With its peaceful setting and easy access to nearby villages and cities, it’s an ideal choice for couples, families, or friends seeking a relaxing stay immersed in nature and history, yet close enough to explore the region’s renowned food, wine, and culture.

Accessed via a well-kept country road, this 16th century farmhouse stands within a 12-hectare estate dedicated to producing wine and olive oil. Parking is conveniently located near the entrance, where guests step into a warm and inviting space furnished in a simple rustic style.
Outdoors, each apartment benefits from a generous area for al fresco dining or unwinding with views of the surrounding hills. Just a short stroll from the house, the shared pool sits among olive trees and overlooks the beautiful countryside, providing a serene setting for lazy afternoons. Upon request, guests may also visit the nearby gardens of the main villa, which feature historic pools fed by a natural spring and terraces lined with ancient lemon trees.

The apartments are distributed across the building, each designed to offer comfort and independence. Inside, guests will find well-equipped living areas, kitchens for preparing local delicacies, and restful bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms. 

Apartment A: 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4

Inside guests will find a spacious living area featuring an L-shaped dining space, a double sofa bed (available at an additional weekly charge), and a fireplace. From here, doors open directly to the outside terrace. The adjoining kitchen is well equipped along with a small dining table for four. This floor also includes a storage cupboard and a bathroom with a shower.
Upstairs, guests will find a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a further bathroom with a shower. Outside guests have access to a garden, a movable barbecue, and views across the surrounding countryside.

Apartment B:  2 bedrooms, sleeps 4

From the main entrance, guests ascend six steps to reach the mezzanine level, where there is a well-equipped kitchen, this space also includes a dining table, two armchairs, and a television.
On the first floor, guests will find a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a compact bathroom with a sloped ceiling and shower.
Adjacent to the house is a spacious lawn surrounded by olive trees, offering a movable barbecue and views of the surrounding countryside.

Apartment C:  3 bedrooms, sleeps 6

Guests enter the house into a comfortable living area with a fireplace, which leads through to the dining room with direct access to the garden. The adjoining kitchen is well fitted and this floor also includes a bathroom with a shower.
Upstairs, there is one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, with the option to join the twin beds if requested. A second bathroom with a shower is also located on this level.
Outside, guests can relax in the garden surrounded by olive trees, furnished with tables, chairs, sunbeds, and a parasol, while taking in the views of the surrounding countryside.

Apartment D:  3 bedroom, sleeps 5

Guests enter into a lounge that opens directly to the outdoor area. On the same level, there is a second sitting room with a fireplace and adjoining dining area, along with a kitchen. This floor also includes a small passage room and a bathroom with a shower.
Upstairs, guests will find a double bedroom, a twin bedroom (which can be arranged as a double on request), and a single bedroom, as well as a bathroom with a shower.
Outside, the garden is set among olive trees and furnished with tables, chairs, sunbeds, and a canopy for shade. From here, guests can take in views of the surrounding countryside.

Car hire is recommended when staying in the Chianti region though this villa is only 350 metres from the picturesque village of Romola where guests can easily wander to the local square for a coffee or catch a bus to Florence, just twenty minutes away. The property’s location makes it a wonderful base for exploring Chianti’s celebrated wineries, medieval hill towns, and scenic trails. Nearby, visitors can discover the historic streets of Siena, the art and architecture of Florence, or spend a leisurely day visiting local markets and sampling regional produce.
