Three bedroom stone house in Makarska
This delightful three bedroom stone house is located on Makarska’s waterfront within walking distance of the town centre. The villa has been recently renovated and is decorated in a rustic style throughout with exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings. Makarska is a lively seaside town and offers some of the best nightlife on the coast. In addition the town is in possession of a great beach and makes an excellent base to explore Mount Biokovo National Park which sits behind the town.
This pretty terraced stone house is entered from the street into a corridor. On this level there is a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a bathroom. Stairs to the first floor lead into a spacious open plan kitchen / diner / lounge area and a separate family bathroom. A door leads out onto a lovely sea facing terrace. From the terrace stairs lead down into a shady garden with Biokovo mountain view. Stairs from the lounge area lead up into a galleried sleeping area with double bed.
The house would suit an older family or a group of friends who would like to be within walking distance of bars and restaurantst. Other activities nearby including white water rafting, canoeing and canyoning on the River Cetina near Omis. Split, Dubrovnik, Mostar and islands such as Brac and Hvar are all easy day excursions that can be organized from Makarska.

Pricing Information
Pricing is calculated per property per night in GBP Sterling. Many destinations also require tourist tax to be paid. Tourist tax starts from approximately £1 per adult per night, and £0.50 per night per child aged 12-17 at time of travel. If tourist tax is applicable to the destination you are travelling to, this will be shown in the booking process. For tourist tax payable at time of booking, the cost will be added to your subtotal. For tourist tax payable locally, the cost will be shown at time of booking and on documentation.

Booking Information
A 30% deposit is required at time of booking. Full balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival.
If booking within 10 weeks of arrival, the full cost of the villa must be paid at the time of booking.

The apartment is OK but otherwise apartments advertised in 3-bedroom residence in the apartment even though there were only two bedrooms and an open loft area which had a double bed. Misleading Advertising. Agent to take care of us very well.
Impressed with: Cleanliness turquoise sea spectacular scenery.
Not impressed with: Road signs and addresses could be better.
Recommend: Thursday was a great celebration of the fishing port.

Very central and excellent for a family. A bit noisy during the day, but double windows and very functional air condition. Would have liked a bit more glasses and cups as we had to do the dishes rather often.
The local agent was very helpful and friendly. We felt that we could call her anytime if we had any problems - which we thankfully did not need to do. She also followed up with a call the evening before our flight to ask re any problems etc.
Impressed with: Friendly people, everything was clean and inviting, great food, and the prices were very nice.
Recommend: We went to a restaurant about 10 mins drive outside Makarska which was absolutely fantastic! Cannot find the name though, but believe it was called Jayne? When we booked the travel arrangement was also arranged by them, and all was paid after you ate.
