Apartments and Villas near Rogoznica, Croatia

Fantastic property with a very helpful and friendly owner. Extremely helpful.
Impressed with: The unspoilt coast.
Not impressed with: The food.
Recommend: Enjoy lazing in the bay.
Favourite villa moment: The lovely reception from the owner.
Stayed June 2017
The villa was located in a beautifully secluded bay and all the necessary equipment was provided. The owner was amazing kind and relaxed and even did 2 car journeys from Trogir to take me and my friends to the villa as we had no car. A meal had also been prepared for our arrival.
Impressed with: The water is so clear and the people are very kind and accommodating.
Recommend: Lanterna restaurant on the bay. It was delicious!! Also great for sunset cocktails.
Favourite Villa Moment: Having meals and relaxing on the large terraces with beautiful views. Doing little day trips on the fishing boat.

Owner is great.
Impressed with: Ocean/Climate
Not impressed with: Presentation of towns
Recommend: Lanterna restaurant
Favourite villa moment: SwimmingStayed September 2015
Location of villa was perfect. Being able to jump into the sea (literally) from the sunbathing area was perfect. We really appreciated being able to all choose what to do - swim, lounge in the sun, sit in the shade, easy access to food and drink from the villa - without having to go out to look for a beach. Very slight downside was lack of any local shops meaning we had to plan for breakfasts etc the night before and visit supermarkets.
The owner was very friendly and eager to help. Very easy to contact with immediate reply to a query about DVD player.
Impressed with: Clear blue water of the sea. General cleanliness. Cost of food, drinks, meals etc very comparable to UK
Not impressed with: Overcrowded airport at Split. Delayed flights stacking up meant lots of people waiting to board, sitting on the floor, very stuffy.
Recommend: We visited Krka National Park - lovely to swim in the river near the waterfalls (1 hour drive away) and Plitvice National Park (3 hour's drive) Stunning scenery tho' Plitvice was a bit too crowded by the selfie stick brigade. Trogir nearby was lovely to stroll around with good markets. Split busy and crowded. Awkward drive in to centre - sat nav very useful for this.
Favourite villa moment: Finding that we also had resident pet tortoises - very easy to look after, they added to the experience. Being able to swim straight from the villa in the fantastically clear blue water

Since we stayed there during a very hot season coinciding with no wind, the bedrooms were very hot through the night. But we realize that this kind of heat is rare.
Impressed with: The clear sea (and rakija)
Not impressed with:
Recommend: Due to the heat we didn't get to see any of the sights we had planned, except Trogir
Favourite villa moment: Picking a warm tomato for lunch at the terrace overlooking the bay

Really well equipped with TV, movies, Wifi, etc. Nicely decorated and wonderfully situated by the sea. Owner…great sense of hospitality and welcome. Easy to contact by SMS when there were any minor issues, with quick replies
A welcome basket of food would have been a really nice touch after the long journey from the airport and hungry tummies after the flight! There were two beers which was great but not for kids...
Impressed with: The clean sea water and amazing coastline
Not impressed with: Erratic dining experiences -- pretty hit and miss
Recommend: It’s pretty remote. Enjoyed dining at San Marco, a restaurant in Rogoznica, a few times -- great grilled fish platter and family-friendly menu
Favourite villa moment: &Sunsets and swimming all the timeStayed June 2013
Good website, very good descriptions of the property. In a very quiet location, but excellent for total relaxation. You do need a car as there isn't a shop in walking distance.
Impressed with: Great weather, decent food and a lot more history that I expected
Not impressed with: So many mosquitoes!
Recommend: Trogir is the nearest largest town and there is plenty of restaurants there, but is around 25mins drive away.
Favourite villa moment: Relaxing by the private pool overlooking the seaStayed June 2017
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE 3 YRS AGO - GREAT SERVICE. FIRST CLASS THROUGHOUT – thanks. TG044 Apts were first class too - thanks for sorting this out also.
Owner was fantastic throughout.
Impressed with: Pace of life, people, coastline.
Not impressed with: Split crazy drivers!
Recommend: Sevid needs to have a couple more restaurants as it is far too quiet. Please do NOT recommend the Lanterna location is superb but the service was terrible and far too expensive for the quality of food. Tell guests that they will need a car if eating there.
Favourite villa moment: Everything - but looking out across the pool over the sea was memorable as to was the air conditioning which worked superbly throughout our stay. A huge thank you for helping us sort our holiday. I look forward to using your services in the future.

The property was great with amazing views across the bay with the pool directly in front of the property. Lots of areas to sit out around the property.
Owner was excellent in all respects. He responded immediately to texts about our arrival and met us as arranged. He let us know each time when he was coming to clean the pool and offered to come an additional time after a storm. Wine awaiting our arrival and no deposit required. We did break a cup and when we told Nikola this was 'no problem'.
Impressed with: Friendly people, reasonable prices (pre Brexit!) and a beautiful coastline.
Not impressed with: The architecture and unfinished buildings.
Recommend: We enjoyed exploring the small towns nearby especially Primosten and would recommend a day trip to the Krka National Park to see the waterfalls
Favourite villa moment: Barbecuing each evening in the special Dalmatian Komin or as my husband calls it the -'smoke house'.
Stayed June 2016
Impressed with: Countryside
Not impressed with: Unfriendly people! It was lovely
Recommend: Very quiet place. Little to do, which suited us perfectly
Favourite villa moment: Swimming and proximity to the sea
Stayed August 2015
The property itself is probably the nicest in the immediate area. Neighbours are friendly. The owner had kindly provided a mobile Wifi router. Owner and his daughter are very helpful and friendly.
Impressed with: Lovely country, weather, not pretentious
Not impressed with: The thought that in ten years’ time it will be over-developed.
Recommend: The Bakers at the northern end of the causeway in Rogoznica is the best we found in the area. Ribola supermarket on the way there on the A8 had friendly staff and good stock. "Antoni's" restaurant on the quayside in Rogoznica (far side of the causeway) and "Toni's" restaurant in Primosten on the waterfront (with decking extended over the water) were very nice. Trogir old town and market worth a visit.
Favourite villa moment: Evening Barbeques

Everything was perfect. Found the best place. The villa is amazing; it is the place where you can really relax. Both the owner and the agent were very helpful to us.

This is a truly delightful villa. The location is excellent as it is right by the sea and the villa is very well provided for. The kitchen in particular has an unusually complete set of implements that make self-catering a pleasure. The freshwater shower that has been placed beside the path up from the sea is a very thoughtful addition that takes away all that sticky salt-water feeling that a quick dip in the sea usually leaves you with.
It would have been helpful if Croatian Villas had passed on to us the map (already provided by the owner) of the road to the house. This doesn't show up on our car's GPS as it is a private road, so a map would have been helpful. Although a four-wheel drive is not necessary for this road, it would be helpful to warn guests that getting a car with decent road clearance is a good idea.
I generally found the company helpful and efficient. Emails were answered promptly and helpfully.
Impressed with: The amazing landscape and the very friendly and helpful people that we met.
Not impressed with: Unexpectedly having to pay extra on the car hire for an unavoidable passage through border control on the road from Dubrovnik to Split.
Recommend: Our best recommendation food-wise is to try the local lamb (recommended by the owner). Ask the butcher at the supermarket in Marina to make chops out of a leg of lamb. The herbs for the marinade are in the garden! Our favourite activity was rafting on the Cetina. Diocletian's Palace in Split and Krka national park are also great as day trips.
Favourite villa moment: Early morning swims in the sea! The ladder on the concrete pier at the bottom of the garden turns the bay into a vast swimming pool of clear blue water.

Croatian Villas comment. We will follow up on the map. Thanks for letting us know.
The property was beautifully situated and a very relaxing place to be. The owner of the property was really lovely and very helpful. The actual road to get to the villa was quite poor.
Impressed with: The people were friendly and the coastline is spectacular.
Recommend: Lots of good restaurants in all the villages there was a really nice one in Vinisce with lovely staff. Lots to choose from in Rogoznica.
Favourite villa moment: When we arrived it was dark so when we woke up next morning the view was wonderful.
Stayed June 2015
Croatian Villas offered very good villas in the price range and standard we were looking for.
Impressed with: Peoples kindness and service mindset. The beautiful nature, old cities and clear clean and lovely water.
Recommend: Antonijos Fish restaurant in Rogoznica
Favourite villa moment: At Midsummer Eve, we came back from the restaurant in Rogoznica and we pranked the kids by jumping in the pool with all our clothes on. Fun moment for the kids!

Favourite villa moment: Using the pizza oven at night BBQ . Swimming. interacting with our Landlords . Parking our car with lots of space . Walking around the town.

Villa location was stunning and the whole week was amazing. Owners were fantastic and were great hosts.
Impressed with: Friendly people, weather, cleanliness of the towns, beaches and the sea.
Not impressed with: The airport at Split, needs to expand quickly to cope with the arrivals and departure volumes.
Recommend: The 2 local restaurants in the village as well as the bar are good.
Favourite villa moment: Waking up to the peace and quiet of the location.Stayed June 2013
