Very nice cosy private property in a small rural village. Tablets/ powder were supplied for washing machine and dish washer. The property has very good wifi connection and air conditioning was available throughout the property. Most of our time was spent outside on the patio which has been partially covered to provide a shaded area throughout the day. The plunge pool and outside shower are a fantastic facility.
The agent and owner were very helpful. The owners welcomed us with a little snack when we arrived and came to provide us with fresh bedlinen and towels halfway through our stay and sent us home again with a cherished souvenir. The agent came out very early on our last day to collect the keys to allow us ample time to get to the airport on time.
Impressed with: Beautiful scenery, wonderful coastline, the nice food.
Not impressed with: Parking in Novigrad (be sure to have change)
Recommend: We ate at the local Konoba (2 minute walk) nearly every night. The food is very reasonable and plentiful not to mention delicious and the staff are very friendly and welcoming as is the local community. You can buy delicious homemade cheese, ham and salami and have a drink whilst you decide what to get, at a b&b/bike point in the village. Local seaside towns are a 20/30 minute drive away.

Stayed May/June 2015Property description states several konoba within walking distance. In fact there is only one. More cutlery. a few general tourist blurbs but no advice on visits or local restaurants. Owner lived nearby, visited regularly, but was very discrete. Plenty of much appreciated gifts.

Recommend:Go to grozjnan avoid all restaurants in Flengi, local konoba ok, go to fjord restaurant limski, though a bit more expensive go to grill at Gradina, cheap and good, but book and be prepared to waitStayed August 2013
We did thoroughly enjoy our stay in the lovely villa, and appreciated its proximity to the toll roads which took us to the parts of Istria very quickly and easily. It is a superb spot for anyone who wants to see your area, and has a mind to go into Italy or Slovenia.
A kettle or teapot of some kind would have been good, together with mirrors in the bedrooms. Some instruction on the electrical switches in the house would have been helpful to us when we arrived. We tried all sorts of combinations to get hot water, and probably made matters worse! A call to Neil soon resolved our issue with the owner sorting it for us very quickly.
Our party was made up of two families. Thus the siting of the air conditioning unit meant that we had to leave our bedroom door open to remain cool. Not ideal.
The Agent whom we dealt with was very helpful, both at the start and at the end of our holidays and was contactable if and when we needed to ask him about anything in the property
Impressed with: The people were always very nice to us and also had a superb command of English! This helped as our Croatian is NOT our strong point.
Not impressed with: The mosquitos! Say no more!
Recommend: The Konoba in Klostar 100-150 metres from the house was excellent. From the first night when we arrived late to our last night they were excellent. We ate in the same Konoba 7 nights out of the 14 of our stay. The staff could not have been nicer, nor could they have put themselves to any more trouble than they did. We would recommend it to any future villa guests. The shop adjacent to the villa selling Grappa Wine fruit & veg, like the Konoba, was excellent value for money and their fruit was beautiful!
Favourite villa moment: Having the five of us round the outside table with the barbecue on and with a nice bottle of red wine in the evening was good, but our hosts' touches of the platter and wine gift at the start and Grappa and Ornament gift at the end were both very unexpected, and were a very nice surprise. We did not get the chance to leave a thank you note for our host, but hope that you will tell him on our behalf how much we appreciated his gestures.Stayed July 2013

I was interested in Stone Villas, more than what AirBnB offered. The decor was very nice, but we found that there was a lot of decor in the kitchen that we had to remove to make room for using the countertops and to make room for the food that we brought. The kitchen lacked a toaster/toaster oven.
The property was advertised with a pool. We visited in March, and the pool was open but it was not heated so not usable. Heated pools should be in properties that are advertised with the pool as a major feature.
Recommend: The local seafood restaurant in Trget (that was mentioned in the description) was excellent! The other restaurant in that town was very overpriced.
Impressed with: The people of Croatia were so nice! The country was lovely, with amazing cities and countryside. Wineries, olive oil and truffles at the markets and Roman ruins.
Favourite villa moment: Use of the fireplace was great!

Croatian Villas Comments: In March the weather in Croatia can be varied and is often hot which is why pools are open at this time. We do offer a range of villas with heated pools which can be found using the Heated Pool filter in the search results.
It was utterly beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. It came with everything we needed and i.e. everything in the kitchen that we needed for cooking. The only issue we had was that 2 of the sun loungers broke within a minute of sitting on them and it was obvious they'd been previously stuck back together (the owner admitted this). This meant two of us were without sun loungers but we were happy lying on the cushions around the pool. This may however, be a problem for other guests. Owner was Extremely helpful and charming
The only minor issues we had was that I needed to contact you to ask for information on directions, what to do on arrival etc. Once I'd had my full payment confirmation, I didn't hear from you and as the holiday approached I was worried we weren't going to. Despite that, when I contacted you Agata was extremely helpful, sending me all the information in a timely manner. It would have been useful to know that a rep was going to be at the airport to meet us - we weren't aware of this and she was wondering around the airport at Pula looking for us. We had booked a car but because this wasn't in my name she couldn't identify us when she did her rounds of the car hire windows. If we'd known to look out for her we would have done this first.

Good website, very good descriptions of the property. In a very quiet location, but excellent for total relaxation. You do need a car as there isn't a shop in walking distance.

Not impressed with: So many mosquitoes!
Recommend: Trogir is the nearest largest town and there is plenty of restaurants there, but is around 25mins drive away.

Recommend: Sevid needs to have a couple more restaurants as it is far too quiet. Please do NOT recommend the Lanterna location is superb but the service was terrible and far too expensive for the quality of food. Tell guests that they will need a car if eating there.
Favourite villa moment: Everything - but looking out across the pool over the sea was memorable as to was the air conditioning which worked superbly throughout our stay. A huge thank you for helping us sort our holiday. I look forward to using your services in the future.
Stayed July/August 2016The property was great with amazing views across the bay with the pool directly in front of the property. Lots of areas to sit out around the property.
Owner was excellent in all respects. He responded immediately to texts about our arrival and met us as arranged. He let us know each time when he was coming to clean the pool and offered to come an additional time after a storm. Wine awaiting our arrival and no deposit required. We did break a cup and when we told Nikola this was 'no problem'.
Impressed with: Friendly people, reasonable prices (pre Brexit!) and a beautiful coastline.
Not impressed with: The architecture and unfinished buildings.
Recommend: We enjoyed exploring the small towns nearby especially Primosten and would recommend a day trip to the Krka National Park to see the waterfalls
Favourite villa moment: Barbecuing each evening in the special Dalmatian Komin or as my husband calls it the -'smoke house'.

Our group had a wonderful visit to Dubrovnik. The villa was in a fantastic location in walking distance from the town. Lovely outside area, overhanging vines and beautiful pool area. Fantastic for families or larger groups. The owner of the property was very helpful.
Impressed with: Beautiful countryside, lots of villages close by and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Croatia very friendly
Recommend: Too many to recommend however lunch or dinner at Panorama restaurant gives you amazing views over the city and even though we went at lunch time there was a lovely breeze at the top.
We also had a lovely dinner at Orsan in the marina.
Favourite villa moment: Dinners cooked on the outside BBQ overlooking the pool .... many a time was spent relaxing in the late afternoons after mornings sightseeing in the town

We stayed at this villa in Dubrovnik. Our experience exceeded what we imagined. The house, the service from arrival till departure was excellent! Very helpful, service minded. Cheaper for our group than hotel, more fun!
We order transport to the airport and that service worked out good!

This is a wonderful place and combines rustic Istrian charm with modern 5* living. We were fortunate enough to have found this magical place to host our families, friends and wedding. Secluded enough to be private, central enough to be easily found, this villa and Istria will play a large part of our lives to come.
The owner was accommodating, friendly and helpful beyond belief. He made us and our families so at home. We could not have asked for a better host. His advice and knowledge of the area, food, wine etc was impeccable. This made it very difficult to leave.
Impressed with: The friendly people and the high quality of food and wine.
Not impressed with: Not many (if any) sandy beaches... although we knew that already!
Recommend: The town of Groznjan is a short drive away and is home to arts, music and has beautiful vistas. We would recommend restaurant Bastilla, which serves some of the finest food we have eaten.

Property suited all of our needs. Rooms perfect, kitchen/lounge brilliant, pool amazing! Villa allowed us to decorate the villa with banners/balloons as we were there for a friend’s hen party. It would have been good to have been advised that the hot water (showers) was not constant - meant that some of our party had to have cold showers. But this was not a major problem.
Villa staff very helpful - great introductions and told us all the best places to go - with a map and how to get there. Very attentive - could call on them at all times if needed. Couldn’t ask for more

Favourite villa moment: Our friends face when we had decorated - with the help of staff! A fun afternoon at the pool - playing silly games as we knew we were in private.

The daily maid service (stated on your webpage) was not provided. After our requirement the maid came once (during a stay of 7 days). The neighbors had a lot of complaints, mostly without any reason. However, the caretakers were friendly and had understanding for that..

Beautiful property but quite remote. We did have cars available but for the walkers in the party a four hour walk still didn't get them to a cafe or bar or resting place or the beach. The car had to go out and provide a pick up. Nowhere really to walk to. This was a one off holiday for two special birthdays so we had two villas. Probably the next special birthday I will be too old. Thanks for this one.
Caretaker was very helpful no problems.Impressed with: The beach in Rabac. Weather, people and villa. Taxis were good, wine cheap and food very reasonably priced
Not impressed with: Staff in the Lidl supermarket were not very friendly. Guess serving so many all day made them "grumpy"
Recommend: We did experience the Battle for Labin. Very enjoyable evening out. Had birthday party at Martin Pascador restaurant as recommended? Rabac is also lovely to visit and not too far in a car.

The only issue was that we booked one of four villas in advance while all 4 villas were free and asked for villa which was downhill - with terrace looking not to the swimming pool. We got the confirmation that villa is booked for us and when we came we found that our villa is exact the opposite - the only one with terrace looking to the swimming pool.
As 4 villas are sharing 1 swimming pool - daytime it’s quite noisy and not so easy to use the pool as it's full.
Impressed with: Nature
Not impressed with: A lot of ants in the house - we think that caretaker could instruct the guests how to fight them as finally they were leaving in all food except the one in the fridge
Recommend: The beach in Rovinj
Favourite villa moment: The last day when the weather has finally improved)Villa Comments: Not all 4 villas were free and this was confirmed at the time of booking to the customer. The best available villa was booked and given on arrival. In general the properties do all have sea views, some slightly more than others.
Regarding Ants. Sprays and other chemicals are laid down where possible, it is important to keep food away as much as possible especially in Mediterranean villas to stop ants being attracted.

Stayed June 2016The owner of the property are next door and help given was brilliant just nice people did whatever to make our stay the best .The setting is fantastic the closeness to so much is perfect. It was our first time to Croatia we have got such high phrase for how we were looked after.
The pool well clean the grounds immaculate. You long for anything. Totally the best help you would ever need. Friendly nice had drink as friends .

The web photos were a bit misleading. We were expecting a much larger pool and thought there were NO adjacent properties. Neither of these turned out to be a big problem but they were initially very disappointing. The owner/neighbors were very nice and it was too cold to swim much.
I don't think the availability of 6 bikes was listed, and it was GREAT to have them.
Owners and agents were outstanding! Lovely, helpful, relaxed folks. The owners dog was a frequent visitor and a true delight (also VERY well trained, did not even try to get in the house).

Recommend: Our favorite restaurant in Croatia was right around the corner, Puli Pineta. They did a special celebration dinner for us that was wonderful. The caves in Slovenia, Rovinj and Porec, Wine tasting, Bjuni National Park, Pula - all well worth the visit.
Stayed June 2016While the main house was fully air-conditioned, it was disappointing that the 2 bedrooms in the annexe did not have A/C - units were outside the bedroom areas. The agent was great and helped us find a bakery for birthday cakes, while the owner was unobtrusive and helpful regarding when the pool was cleaned. Extremely helpful service from Croatian Villas agent Katija.
Impressed with: Having been before there were not too many surprises, but Istria was especially nice and not overcrowded, with an excellent road network.
Not impressed with: Nothing - everything was fine
Recommend: Nothing specifically culturally - the cave at Festini - Festinsko kraljevstvo - was nice as were 2 local restaurants - Konoba Puli Pineta and Restoran-Konoba Zminjka
Favourite villa moment: Probably evening meals using the kitchen facilities and barbeque after visiting the market in Rovinj for fresh fish, meat and vegetables.
Stayed July 2015Good-Excellent. Offering a food 'welcome pack' type service would be really useful - especially for those arriving later on a Sunday, as we were. As mentioned to the agent, there were a few small items not provided in the main property, which would have been nice and just add the finishing touches, e.g. toaster, pegs, spare bin bags. Agent was very friendly and informative, although unfortunately, not all of the information he gave was up to date! We enjoyed the small local cave at Festini, as well as the more obvious attractions in Porec, Pula and Rovinj.
