Bikers show motoring holiday possibilities in Croatia
29 June 2011Spending a holiday in Croatia using a car or bike to explore the country's beautiful Dalmatian coast is an option currently being taken by a group of bikers.
According to the Croatian Times, citing a report by fullbusiness.com, a group of people on motorcycles are due to follow the E65 highway, which takes in peaks of up to 1,800 metres.
The annual event features thousands of bikers and is said by the news source to be a "must" for anybody with suitable transport.
Alternatively, those without a bike could simply enjoy the magnificent nature of the route by other forms of transport.
The journey takes people from the inland regions down the cost towards Split, famous for the ancient Diocletian's Palace at its heart.
Just a short distance from Split, Trogir is hosting a summer of cultural events and is said to be a highly-sophisticated destination by the Croatian National Tourist Office.
