Angelina Jolie 'set to travel to Croatian islands'
19 August 2010Angelina Jolie is expected to visit the Brijuni islands in the northern part of Croatia this week, according to a source.
The Croatian Times reports Jutarnji List as stating the Hollywood icon and wife of Brad Pitt will spend time in Dalmatia in order to take in a theatre performance by Croatian actor Rade Serbedzija.
Serbedzija is thought to be a potential recruit to the cast of Jolie's next production, her first as a director, so she has decided to watch him in action.
He has an illustrious track record in the business, including appearances in a number of the Harry Potter movies, the publication notes.
Jolie could book a stay in a luxury villa in Croatia to make her stay in the Balkan country as memorable and comfortable as possible.
Earlier this year, the Croatian Times speculated that Jolie and Pitt were about to holiday in Dubrovnik after a 60-metre yacht was said to have been booked for them.
