Art exhibition 'provides fun for those on Croatia holiday'
17 May 2010Travellers with a passion for art who are currently searching for where to go in Croatia may have their answer, after a new exhibition was announced in Zagreb.
Renowned artists Gilbert and George will have their creations displayed in the Croatian capital from June 6th, the Croatian Times reports.
Taking place at the Museum of Contemporary Culture, the event will showcase more than 60 works by the pair.
It is thought that a host of topics will be covered, from religion, life, death and money, the newspaper explains.
The exhibition may provide tourists already in Croatia with an entertaining and insightful activity to enjoy, while others may even book a Croatian villa simply to enjoy the display.
Gilbert Proesch and George Passmore first met at London's St Martin's School of Fine Arts and went on to produce luxury items for more than 40 years.
Zagreb is noted for its history and art, making it a top destination for fans of the subjects.
