BA may offer most punctual flights to Croatia

Holidaymakers looking for flights to Croatia may wish to consider booking with British Airways, if new figures are anything to go by.

Official records released by the airline show 87 per cent of its domestic and short-haul flights from London Gatwick departed on time in June.

The results come after the carrier's record-breaking March, when it achieved its best-ever punctuality figures.

"We recognise that time is important and that regular punctuality is a key factor when customers chose which airline to fly with," explains Alan Peever, the airline's general manager at Gatwick.

With the results in mind, tourists planning to travel to Croatia could decide the most likely way of arriving on time is by choosing British Airways.

The flag carrier offers a regular service from the West Sussex airport to Dubrovnik in southern Croatia.
