Belly dancing festival on offer for travellers to Croatia

Tourists still looking for a summer holiday destination could choose a break in Croatia next week and enjoy the bonus of a top belly dancing festival being held while they are there.

The Split Tribal Fest event will take place in Split, located on the country's picturesque Dalmatian coast, from next Tuesday (August 23rd).

It runs for three nights, offering visitors ample opportunity to enjoy some of the best belly dancers from a number of countries.

On Wednesday, the popular Mantra Fusion Band promise to take guests on an "oriental journey from India to Macedonia" as they show off a range of styles.

Meanwhile, those who attend the final night on Thursday are welcome to join the after party, which is set to be held at the Hemingway bar.

As well as taking in some of the belly dancing on offer, travellers to Split can relax on the city's beaches or take a ferry to any number of nearby islands.

Flights to Croatia with easyJet are scheduled between London and Split for those seeking a budget fare.
