People are given the freedom to view the beauty of the country from a boat in a place which is known as the land of a thousand islands, according to a blogger on holidaychatter.co.uk.
There will also be the opportunity to snorkel and enjoy the local cuisine in restaurants in the towns when taking a break from sailing.
An abundance of quiet and protected anchorages are available at the islands around Croatia, the writer says.
"You could find yourself swaying to the rhythm of steel drums at an open air beach bar," the blogger adds.
Summer hotspots like Croatia are more pleasant during the off season because there are less traffic jams, quieter beaches and more available restaurants, it has been reported.
It is also cheaper to travel to the country during the autumn and winter months as prices can be doubled or tripled in July and August, Newsweek.com says.
