Business chiefs to travel to Dubrovnik in 2011
15 December 2010There will be a significant period of business travel to Dubrovnik next year, after a large fair was confirmed as taking place in the Croatian city.
New Europe Travel Mart – an international tourism festival – will be held in the resort between April 13th and 15th, the Croatian Times reports.
Other organisations, such as the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourism Board will play a part in the event.
Representatives of the fair Colin Rush and Manny Cuevas say there will be a regional focus to the travel festival, with experts from scores of countries in attendance, the newspaper explains.
William H Coleman Inc, which is behind New Europe Travel Mart, reveals it has been planning the meetings for about 40 years, with such a reputation perhaps likely to attract people to accommodation in Croatia for the 2011 date.
Dubrovnik was recently nominated as one of the continent's true delights by Sandy Peters, a reader of the Daily Telegraph.
