Christmas art exhibition could be fun attraction on Croatian holiday
17 December 2009Tourists heading for a Croatian holiday during the next week may wish to visit a special Christmas exhibition which is due to open in Zagreb.
From December 19th until January 19th, work by a host of Croatian artists will be displayed at the Croatian Catholic Medical Society's Gallery in the capital, reports the Croatian Times.
A theme of advent has been declared for the event, meaning art is based around the idea of waiting and preparation.
Milivoj Svoboda, Vlado Puljica and Karlo Kolundzic are just some of the 27 artists whose work will be exhibited at the month-long attraction, the newspaper reveals.
The collection has been created by Stjepan Katic and organised by Rok Civljak and Petar Bilic.
It could be of interest to a great number of people visiting the Balkan country - who may be staying in a waterfront property or Croatian villa - this winter.
