Christmas celebrations to take place in Zagreb
16 December 2008While there is no snow covering the streets in Zagreb, the countdown to Christmas is still an important tradition in the city, it has been reported.
December is a special month for children and adults alike - parents reminisce and their offspring think of fairytales and Christmas magic, javno.com says.
While most people are trying to save money, many cannot resist the wonderful city of Zagreb when it is in full swing during the Advent season.
There are Christmas lights, stalls offering presents, a stage in the city's main square, and a tent serving mulled wine, which means there is something for everyone.
Zagreb recently hosted a souvenir fair to show Croatia's historical and cultural heritage, which ran from December 4th to 7th in the Bocarski Dom building, javno.com reported.
The fair was organised by the Association of Innovators of Croatia, the Croatian Community of Technical Trade and the Association of Craftsmen of Zagreb.
