Continental fashion show to be enjoyed by travellers to Croatia

Fashionable folk may wish to consider taking a Croatia holiday in June, with the opportunity to look at Europe's future styles and designs on offer.

The Europe Future Fashion event will be held in Split and is set to be attended by a host of top designers, according to the Croatian Times.

Among these are David Priol, Marko Mitanovski, Rosy Garbo and the host country's Anemarie Ocasic.

Fashion TV - the leading clothing television channel - will cover the event, which is due to take place in the centre of the ancient city, the newspaper explains.

Travellers to Croatia intending to browse upcoming designs for trousers, dresses and tops could also dedicate some of their time to exploring the area.

Split, with 1,700 years of history under its belt, offers an intricate network of cobbled streets and several miles of unspoilt beaches.

Croatian design company Hippy Garden exhibited its wares at this year's London Fashion Festival for the first time.
