Corluka deal still not completed
14 August 2008Croatian footballer Vedran Corluka remains a Manchester City player today, despite continued speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham.
The international defender reportedly agreed personal terms and passed a medical with Spurs last week, but the deal is yet to go through, with boss Mark Hughes stating the full-back "won't be leaving the club".
However, Corluka was absent from City's website photocall on Tuesday, reports Goal.com.
If a deal is completed before the August 31st transfer deadline the 22-year-old player would join up with Croatian team mate Luka Modric, who joined the London club from Dinamo Zagreb earlier this summer.
The pair recently helped the national team climb to their highest FIFA ranking since 1999 as the squad moved up to fifth in a table released last week by the world footballing body.
Meanwhile, Fabio Capello announced earlier this week he has already decided on the side he will pick when England travel to Croatia for a World Cup qualifier on September 10th.
