Croatia 'good value' in current financial climate
08 December 2008People who are looking for a holiday destination which will give them good value for money should consider Croatia, according to a travel website.
The country is often thought of as a place with lots of old towns with sober stone buildings lined up which people imagine visiting, iafrica.com says.
Croatia has floridly sculpted public buildings and magnificent walls surrounding the cities, which are 'point-and-shoot perfect'.
However, although the country is full of architecture and drenched in history, the source says it is far from being a museum as people live there and grow up in the baroque houses.
They shop in the local grocery stores and chat with their neighbours in the local cafe, giving the visitor a sense of the real Croatia and its values.
