Croatia holiday 'a delightful experience'
12 August 2010A holiday in Croatia has been spoken highly of by one writer whose friends recently visited Zagreb and Dubrovnik.
Writing for MSN India, the writer explained the trio were delighted with the atmosphere in the capital city, which differs to that in many of its global counterparts.
Zagreb is home to a small but efficient airport, the author noted, while the trip from the transport hub to the centre of the city showcases the multitude of green space that can be found in the city.
Its range of government-run museums was praised - with the Mimara Museum singled out for being "worth a visit" due to the original Renoir works hanging there.
And Dubrovnik, one of the country's biggest tourism destinations, was also spoken highly of, with the visitors walking the city's walls and taking a boat trip out to several islands.
According to the Dubrovnik Tourist Board the area's pleasant weather makes it a great location for a break, as the sun shines throughout the summer.
