Croatia holiday could be perfect for older people
06 October 2009Over-50s can take advantage of reasonably-priced travel insurance, says moneysupermarket.com, meaning Croatia could be the perfect holiday destination this winter.

Croatia has grown into one of Europe's most desirable holiday locations with a string of beautiful beaches and a rich history luring visitors from across the world - so potential visitors could be delighted to hear they can insure themselves for their trip without breaking the bank.
Many older Britons with more time on their hands may now be tempted to enjoy a fun-packed break under the Baltic sun.
Moneysupermarket.com has one piece of advice for travellers though: "If you're planning to go adventuring once you've retired, make sure your travel insurance covers all the activities you have planned."
Research by RIAS reveals that four-in-ten older people claim they travel more now than they did in their youth - and many may wish to consider Croatia as their next port of call.
Scots in particular could be planning to benefit from great travel insurance deals as it was revealed last week that airline Jet2.com is to fly from Edinburgh to Dubrovnik from 2010.
