Croatia 'is top wedding and honeymoon destination'
14 October 2010Demand for weddings and honeymoons in Croatia has reached a level so high that one man has started a photography business purely for brides and grooms.
An increasing number of foreign couples are choosing to tie the knot on the Dalmatian coast, followed by a few days in the picturesque country, the Croatian Times claims.
As a result, Robert Matic has opened Stella Wedding Photography, which promises to capture the magical moments from a couple's big day.
Mr Matic notes his firm has already had enquiries from couples in a host of nations, including the UK, Ireland and the US, the newspaper reports.
"We offer the quality and style which is so important to those people that want a great memory of their Adriatic wedding," explains the photography chief.
A stay in accommodation in Croatia may be the ideal way to enjoy the first few days as husband and wife, with warm weather all but assured and a plethora of historic monuments to enjoy.
Some people may particularly like the idea of a wedding on one of the remote islands located off the country's coast, with about 1,200 landmasses found in the region.
