Croatia travelling play troupe's fourth stop

When passing through Croatia travel enthusiasts may recently have encountered an unusual occurrence on a station platform as the Orient Express rolled into town.

The train was part of an unusual project, reports DW-World, which saw performers carry out plays directly from the carriage of their transportation.

In order to allow this to happen, the walls of the train folded down to convert it into a temporary stage.

Seven Days in Zagreb was the performance selected for the Croatian audience as the train arrived in the country.

In Croatia travel, wealth and success are all within reach, the play noted - although they may be more difficult to achieve in reality.

The Orient Express began its journey in Ankara in Turkey and passed through Croatia as the fourth performance on its route to Stuttgart, Germany.

Meanwhile, the Zagreb Tourist Board notes that young performers from Croatia were able to join in the show as the Zagreb Youth Theatre had joined event sponsor the European Theater Convention.
