Croatia trip for West Brom fans
09 July 2009Supporters of West Bromwich Albion are known for their loyalty to a club that bounces between the Championship and the Premier League, and this fascination with their team will inevitably lead some of them to a Croatia holiday this month.
Roberto Di Matteo's side will be touring parts of central Europe in the coming weeks and they have arranged matches with Slovenia side NK Nafta and Croatian outfit NK Varteks in Varazdin.
The matches are on July 15th and 18th respectively and fans of the West Midlands club who want to watch both matches should be looking to book accommodation in Croatia soon, if they have not done so already.
West Brom followers who want to see more of the country may benefit from hiring a car and checking out what a Croatia travel trip has to offer, aside from the football.
Samantha Day, from the press team at budget airline easyJet, said this week that Croatia offers holidaymakers "a compelling choice of both a beach and city break".
The carrier recently launched a new route from Liverpool to Dubrovnik after passengers showed a strong demand for the link-up and Ms Day suggested that "sales so far are proving this point".
