Croatian dance festival hits Svetvincenat
09 July 2010An Istria holiday to Svetvincenat this summer could prove perfect for fans of the theatre.
Between July 23rd and 27th the Dance and Non-Verbal Theatre Festival hits the region and people on an Istria vacation can take in a variety of performances.
Street-theatre projects, circus acts and other performances that do not require speech could be taken in by those who leave their Croatian villa to visit the attraction, which takes place once a year.
According to the Croatian Times, the festival - which was established 11 years ago - will see the Zagreb Dance troupe joined by guests from Spain, Slovenia and Serbia.
In this time it has "become one of the top cultural attractions in the country", the newspaper stated.
Istria is also set to host the Gourmet and Jazz Festival between July 18th and 24th where dishes from the region, including meat from the Boskarin cattle, will be showcased.
