Croatian internet portal 'enables debate' about media content
20 February 2008People who enjoy the accommodation Croatia has to offer, be it a holiday villa or an apartment, can avail of an updated internet service.
The Web 2.0 innovation, dubbed Croportal, provides a means for holidaymakers and residents alike to keep up to speed with what is happening in the country.
Functioning as an online information service, the portal presents current news and information from a range of media sources, as well as giving users the opportunity to share articles they consider to be interesting or useful perhaps for fellow Croatian villa owners.
Currently positioned as one of the ten most visited sites in Croatia, Croportal enables individuals to debate with each other and comment on news summaries all in cyberspace.
Kristijan Soldo, the firm's internet business unit manager, explained that during development and research of the portal, the requirements of Croatia's growing number of visitors and residents were borne in mind.
"Satisfaction and expectation from our users will always be our priority in the future development of the online services," the internet expert concluded.
In another coup for Croatian villa and apartment owners, it was recently announced that the country's mobile phone tariffs are to be reduced over the coming months.
