Croatian pop legend to perform in Zagreb

One of Dalmatia's finest singer-songwriters will perform as a solo artist for the first time in more than ten years when he visits Zagreb in November, reports the Croatian Times.

Fans of music icon Tedi Spalato may wish to book their trip to the Croatian capital in preparation for the November 9th gig at the Vatroslav Lisinski Hall.

Spalato aims to raise around £6,500 for a disabled girl as well as promote his new album, Kadenca.

The album is inspired by the Dalmatian region of Croatia and is Spalato's first foray into pop music for several years.

At the concert he will be joined on stage by an orchestra led by renowned conductor Josko Banov.

Earlier this month it was announced that British pop group the Pet Shop Boys are also set to play a concert in Zagreb.

The duo - Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe - will perform at the Arena Hall on November 29th.
