Croatian property values 'up 89%
22 August 2008The value of Croatian property has increased, according to a source.
In news which may interest those wishing to travel to the country to invest, figures released today by the country's National Bank show prices in the Adriatic region have risen by 89.9 per cent in the last ten years, reports Propertyinvesting.net.
The nation has seen a 61.6 per cent rise in values since 2004, the website states.
Meanwhile, property in Zagreb has also enjoyed a price boost, with values for an average apartment rising from 1,400 euros per sq metre (£1,172) to 2,300 euros, the source adds.
Earlier this month increased tourism levels were reported in Zagreb, with 63,000 visitors to the city in July, reports Javno.com.
The number of holidaymakers choosing to travel to Croatia has also increased, with latest research from the Ministry of Tourism showing a three per cent year-on-year rise in visitors to the country last month.
