Croats take 'Museum of Broken Relationships' on tour
08 January 2009Two lovelorn Croatians have taken their successful Museum of Broken Relationships on tour to the delight of visitors all over the world.
According to Reuters, founders Drazen Grubisic and Olinka Vistica set up the attraction in their home country, before spiralling popularity saw the pair hit the road with the show.
The museum - which features such odes to failed romances as a tear-soaked teddy bear and a prosthetic leg - was eventually taken to London and Berlin before arriving in its current location of Singapore.
Ms Vistica told Reuters: "People are a little bit hesitant, but when they come and see the exhibitions, sometimes it gives them the courage to give something later."
She added that the intention of the museum was to "preserve the heritage of broken relationships", which made the visiting experience "therapeutic".
Earlier this week, it was revealed that the Indian natural healthcare firm Jiva was to open up a luxurious spa complex in the Croatian coastal resort Opatija.
