Dubrovnik holiday 'is choice of Saudi Arabian royal family'
09 June 2010The Saudi Arabian royal family is once again set to enjoy a holiday in Dubrovnik this summer.
Indeed, Prince Salman bin Abd al-Aziz ibn Abd al-Rahman has already arrived in the historic city after travelling from Venice, reports the Croatian Times.
He is due to be followed by other members of Saudi royalty, all of whom may be staying in luxury accommodation in Dubrovnik.
The family's break in the south of Croatia is not a new tradition, as it mirrors trips made in each of the last few years, the newspaper explains.
It is said the prince sailed his yacht - which is the 40th largest in the world - to Dubrovnik from the Italian city.
The vessel is now being looked after by a team of domestic security guards at the resort's famous harbour.
Other famous faces to have stayed in Dubrovnik recently include actor Gerard Butler and Hollywood director Ralph Fiennes, who had been working on a movie in the area.
