Dubrovnik holiday 'is ideal for both kids and adults'
31 March 2010A holiday in Dubrovnik can be tailored to suit people of all interests and ages, according to a travel expert.
Emma O'Boyle, UK media relations manager for TripAdvisor, says the coastal city can be "as busy or as laid back" as tourists want it to be.
Those looking for a relaxing break are likely to be interested in a number of the attractions Ms O'Boyle highlights, such as the Baroque churches and palaces of the Old Town.
Indeed, the Old Town is rated by the travel review website as Dubrovnik's number one attraction, with one contributor describing it as "a breathtaking place to be".
She also points to the city's ancient walls, as well as its historic "nooks and crannies", as spots to look out for.
However, Dubrovnik can offer a wilder side, with a young population creating a party atmosphere in several parts of the city.
Those thinking of booking a trip may wish to compare the prices of flights with carriers such as easyJet, British Airways and flybe - all of which link the UK's main airports with the Adriatic coast.
