Dubrovnik holidaymakers approaching last chance to enjoy Christmas Fair
30 December 2010Britons who still have the festive spirit as the new year approaches should be aware they are getting close to their last chance to travel to Dubrovnik for the city's popular Christmas Fair.
The event, which has been running since early December, comes to an end on epiphany – also known as January 6th.
Tourists in the area have the chance to enjoy a range of wonderful traditions, from local arts and crafts that have been handmade in the area to Dubrovnik's favourite cuisine.
Among the delicious food and drink on offer at the Christmas Fair are cookies, cheeses and mulled wine.
The festival can also act as an opportunity to explore the city beyond its festive celebrations and delve into its history and culture.
Other events to look forward to in Dubrovnik over the coming weeks and months include the city's annual carnival and an exhibition relating to Croatia's theatre culture.
