Ecclestone to produce new fashion range in Croatia

The daughter of Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has announced that she is to produce her new designer range in Croatia.

Petra, and her Croatian mother Slavica Radic Ecclestone, this week visited the town of Sisak and the Siscia textile facility to begin plans for her Form brand, the Croatian Times reported.

On their visit to the country, the pair was accompanied by a former prime minister and the president of Croatia's olympic committee.

Owner of Siscia, Milan Stojanovic, told Jutarnji List newspaper: "Petra is very young, but she is already a big name in the world of fashion design.

"Her fashion line already sells in Harrods better than Armani, Dior and others."

According to the publication, Ms Ecclestone's line will not only be distributed in Croatia, but also other parts of Europe and Russia.

Meanwhile, the Croatian government has announced that it is to relax visa restrictions on Russian and Ukrainian visitors, Reuters reported earlier this month.
