Europe's leading artists put on Zagreb exhibition
11 February 2009Scores of Europe's leading artists are to gather in the Croatian capital Zagreb to showcase examples of their cutting-edge work.
A report in the Croatian Times details the internationally-flavoured Looking at Others exhibition, which will feature work from 20 acclaimed artists from all over the planet.
Some of the top names set to display at the event include the challenging Spanish-born Santiage Sierra and the unflinching Ukrainian Boris Mahajlov.
The Croatian Times noted that respected art historian Iva Radmila Jankovic is the curator of the event - and from her choice of artists, it's evident she was keen to showcase a diverse range of work.
The exhibition will begin at Zagreb's art pavilion tomorrow (February 12th) and will run through to March 15th.
Look at Others is not the only major cultural attraction to arrive in Zagreb in February, as the annual International Documentary Film Festival is set to open later this month.
