Even more room to park in Zagreb

Holidaymakers who opt to rent a car while visiting the capital city of Croatia are going to find parking a breeze.

That is according to a report in the Croatian Times, which revealed that Zagreb's municipal parking company has announced that more than 5,000 new car parking spaces are to be made available.

A total of 21,174 spaces are now available in the city and the company told the newspaper that the new announcement should help to reduce the amount of cars in the city centre.

Zagreb is an ideal travel destination for tourists from all over the world who are looking for metropolitan culture and good value entertainment.

The city is host to numerous events featuring culture and music from all over the world including Irish rock band U2 who plan to play a concert in the Croatian capital in August.
