Exhibition may appeal to Croatia travellers
23 April 2010Tourists have been handed a six-week opportunity to visit an historical exhibition in the Croatian capital of Zagreb.
A Pair of Left Shoes - Return to Reality opened in the city this week, taking a look at the role communism has played in eastern Europe over the years, reports the Croatian Times.
Curator Tihomir Milovac says the title of the event was inspired by a text by Boris Buden and it does not criticise communism, only use it as a major theme.
The display will run at Zagreb's Museum of Modern Art until May 30th, the newspaper explains.
History lovers could deem it to be a potentially worthwhile visit and, as such, plan their future holidays around its run at the centre.
Zagreb, which has a population of about a million, is one of Europe's most ancient cities with a plethora of historical architecture and sites of interest available to travellers.
