Extra Split routes for UK airliner
24 April 2009Budget air carrier easyJet has announced an increase in its number of flights from London to Split.
Britons eager to visit the Adriatic city this summer will be able to book on to one of the 11 journeys per week easyJet will be running from Gatwick Airport from July 17th.
From Split, holidaymakers will have close access to an array of Dalmatian islands and other hotspots.
The UK regional manager for easyJet, Paul Simmons, commented: "EasyJet has grown dramatically at Gatwick over the last few years by offering its familiar combination of low fares with care and convenience."
Mr Simmons added that by increasing the number of flights from the UK hub, Gatwick had become its "biggest single airport base".
Meanwhile, the budget airliner Jet2.com has launched discount lights from Bradford Leeds Airport to Dubrovnik from £49.99 one way including taxes, although travellers must book by the start of next week.
