Film fans could travel to Croatia for movie event
16 November 2010A circulatory film festival might strike a chord with those planning sights and sounds to take in on their Croatia holiday.
ZagrebDox is an international documentary film festival that takes place in Zagreb every February or March.
Lasting a total of seven days, it shows viewers and attendees the story behind documentary films, while allowing them time for networking.
This may mean that business professionals and budding filmmakers staying in accommodation in Croatia could see the event as the perfect time to liaise about potential projects.
There are two categories to the festival - the international competition, which sees movies from directors all over the world and the regional exposition, which concentrates on those produced or co-produced in Albania, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia and Romania.
Other events in Croatia to look out for over the coming months include the Dubrovnik Carnvival and the Oyster Festival in the same city.
