Flaming Lips frontman on his Croatian gig
09 July 2010Croatia was one of many topics on the list for a well-known musician in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
Wayne Coyne was talking about his summer tour, which has taken in a number of countries including Croatia.
He said the band does not simply want to play popular "rock-star events" and would rather be a little bit different.
"We were in Croatia last week, we're gonna go to Poland later this summer. We want to go to interesting places," he told the publication.
"I think it's much better to do things [that] are interesting and hope that they work," he added.
Music lovers who are heading off on a Croatian holiday could decide to take in the Day and Night Festival, which has kicked off on the Croatian island of Pag and carries on until the end of August.
