Garden Festival 'provides perfect Croatia holiday venue for music fans'

Dance music lovers looking for somewhere to go this summer should consider a Croatia holiday, according to one writer.

Julia Buckley, writing for Cheapoair.com, suggests the Garden Festival in Petrcane, Croatia is ideal "if dance music on the water is your kind of thing".

Now in its fifth year, the Garden Festival features some of Europe's top acts and has quickly built itself a strong reputation as one of the continent's top seasonal music events.

Ms Buckley adds: "This time, expect DJs aplenty from Norman Jay to Mr Scruff, as well as a few live acts."

She reveals the festival takes place on a tiny, forested peninsula well known for its fishing, with attendees often spending the summer nights on boats enjoying parties.

Eddie O'Callaghan, creative director of the festival, recently explained attending the event - which takes place between July 2nd and 11th - could be just one part of a "breathtaking" Croatia holiday this summer.
