Hire car company to expand Croatian operations for holidaymakers

The growing popularity of Croatia as a holiday destination has prompted rental car company globalCARS to announce that it is to expand its operations in the whole of the Balkans region.

At present, the company already benefits from strong trade out of its Dubrovnik Airport base, with many arrivals opting to hire a car and drive to their Croatian villa holiday.

Now, globalCARS is to introduce a number of new models and special rates specifically geared at the tourist market, carrentals.co.uk has reported.

Alongside unlimited mileage and breakdown assistance, it has also been confirmed that the new deals will enable customers to take the cars to a number of countries outside of Croatia, including Montenegro and Serbia.

For those travellers keen to sit back and let other do the work on their Croatian villa holiday, however, the Adriatic resort of Rijeka recently announced that it is to extend its bus network, with new night services to be offered to allow people to make the most of the town's buzzing nightlife.
