Holiday in Croatia 'provides the perfect moment'

A traveller has told of the "perfect moment" she enjoyed while taking a holiday in Croatia recently.

Writing for Times Live, Shelley Seid noted such idyllic times do not come around very often, but her spell in the country certainly provided one.

It occurred as she dived into the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea for a three-kilometre swim – "The sun was shining, the landscape was charming, the water was calm and the safety boat was in range," she said.

The beauty of the country is perhaps summed up by Ms Seid's words that suggested it is "almost impossible to take a bad photo" of Croatia as it is so pretty.

One of her top tips is to avoid traditional transport and take a look at the picturesque nation and its hundreds of islands by swimming between various locations.

Lovers of the sea could be back on the Dalmatian coast in April, when organisers have scheduled the next Croatia Boat Show in Split for.
