Holiday in Dubrovnik is "so beautiful"

One jet-setter has spoken of the joy at spending time on holiday in Dubrovnik, which she describes as "so beautiful".

Robyn Grimaldi, making the latest entry to her blog entitled The Traveller, says the picturesque nature of the historic resort deep in Croatia's south is a highlight.

She details a walk around the city, including a trip to the Study Abroad campus and a tour of a local park, suggesting they were packed with "amazing views".

Ms Grimaldi explains she then spent some time on a boat, from where she watched the "really pretty" sunset.

The final part of her day was dinner at a Dubrovnik eatery, which she says was particularly tasty.

According to a recent report by the Croatian Times, which was summarising statistics published by the Business portal, an increasing number of tourists are heading to Dubrovnik for a holiday, with arrivals in September seven per cent up on the same month in 2009.
