Holiday in magical Dubrovnik 'is a must'
30 December 2010People who travel to Croatia have been told they must take a holiday in Dubrovnik, which has been described as a "magical city".
Samantha Daniels, writing for the Huffington Post, explains the resort is a must-visit destination, with beauty, history and fun packed inside its ancient walls.
"The streets are all cobblestone, the stores and restaurants are built into the walls and the feeling is just old-fashioned and mystical. Don't miss the City Wall walk," she advised.
She suggested the route takes people to a position where they can enjoy a bird's-eye view of Dubrovnik.
Even if this feels a little touristy – which is far from the overall experience in the city – Ms Daniels said people should stick with it for the glass bottom finish that offers a glimpse into the waters of the Adriatic Sea.
One of the highlights for travellers to Dubrovnik at the moment is likely to be its Christmas Fair, which is ongoing in the heart of the resort.
