Holidaymakers in Zagreb could enjoy photography festival

Keen photographers may want to book a holiday to Zagreb after an exhibition of press images throughout Croatian history opened in the city.

The Documents of Time - Three Decades of Press Photos in Croatia event will run until November 19th at the capital's Museum of Arts and Crafts, reports the Croatian Times.

It includes more than 150 photographs from the last three decades that have been published in Croatian newspapers and magazines.

Head of the museum Miroslav Gasparovic said: "Screening this exhibition is equivalent to travelling through the last 30 years of time. Its authors have established themselves as the most important names in Croatian photography."

The exhibition is believed to feature work by the greatest Croat photographers of each generation covering all of the country's most memorable events.

It was reported yesterday (October 28th) that there will also be a one-day photography event in Zagreb today.

The Organ Vida festival in Savska Street will allow ten people to take part in a professional photography course and print their own images.
